This month we decided to start covering the most anticipated games to be released each month. We asked our most fervent BT Staff gamers and these are the games they’re most excited for. This is by no means an endorsement for or against any games, we love all games.. except for No Man’s Sky!
Hello Neighbor
This seems like a plot taken right out of a 1980’s B-Movie thriller. Your new neighbor is hiding something, and you’re dead set on finding out what. But he’s kind of a creep, so your plan involves sneaking through his house to discover what’s in his basement. Solve trick puzzles and outsmart an advanced AI that learns from your actions, and counters them.
Madden 18
You can’t have an August gaming review with the annual release of EA Sports Madden NFL 18. Madden often gets a bad rap for being little more than a roster update of previous years. But ’18 looks to have promising differences with ES choosing to use the Frostbite engine. Frostbite delivers a significant visual leap not only to the players, but crowds, stadiums and more. All of your favorite game modes are still there, plus a new story mode called Longshot (similar to Journey in FIFA 17).
Sonic Mania
2D Sonic has never looked so good! Play as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles as you race through all-new Zones and fully re-imagined classics, each filled with exciting surprises and powerful bosses. This all-new experience celebrates the best of Classic Sonic, with stunning 60 FPS game-play.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Designed exclusively for the wildly successful Nintendo Switch, Kingdom Battle is a story of unexpected encounters. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi team up with Rabbids heroes in a journey through four different worlds. Outwit unpredictable enemies in dynamic turn-based combat with co-op challenges, and solve puzzles along the way.
